Parx Casino Strong Arm Robbery Suspect Arrested: Bensalem Police
Police have issued an arrest warrant for the second suspect sought in the crime.

One of the men involved in a strong arm robbery of a 73-year-old woman in the Parx Casino parking lot on Dec. 11 has been arrested and police have put out a warrant for the other suspect's arrests, according ot Bensalem Township Police.
Jason Derrell Ballard, 33, of Newark, N.J. was arrested and charged on Dec. 15 according to police and court documents. Ballard has been charged with felony robbery, taking property from others by force; felony conspiracy to commit robbery; theft by unlawful taking; and conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, court documents show.
Police said the second suspect in the crime has been identified as Miguel Soto, 31, of Newark, N.J. Magisterial District Judge Joseph Falcone signed an arrest warrant for Soto on Dec. 16 and authorities are searching for the suspect, police said.

The crime occurred at about 8:20 p.m. on Dec. 11 in the casino parking lot where Soto allegedly ripped the victim's purse from her shoulder and was picked up by Ballard, who was driving a silver Audi Q7, and fled the area.
Ballard was arraigned Dec. 15 and remanded to the Bucks County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

He is slated to appear before Falcone on Dec. 21 for his preliminary hearing.
