Pet Supplies Plus Opens Bensalem Location

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Pet Supplies Plus has opened its eighth location in Bucks County, filling space in the Giant shopping center on Street Road.

The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday for the official grand opening of the store on 2731 Street Rd. They were joined by State Rep. Kathleen "KC" Tomlinson.

"Congratulations to the new owners on the opening of Pet Supplies Plus here in Bensalem," she said. "Wishing you all of the luck in the future."

It's the eighth Pet Supplies Plus location in Bucks County.

Pet Supplies Plus has locations in Southampton, Doylestown, Telford, Quakertown, Fairless Hills, Levittown, and Southampton.

Pet Supplies Plus was founded in Redford, MI, in 1988. The privately held company is the third largest specialty pet food retailer in the country.

As of May 2023, Pet Supplies Plus has more than 720 store locations in 36 states.

Pet Supplies Plus has in-house pet food brands such as Redford Naturals. It offers supplies for dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and small pets.
