BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bensalem Township Police Department goes after the bad guys on a daily basis.

They confiscate the guns, arrest drug dealers, and even put out a weekly list of retail theft suspects.

Bensalem Police are tough on crime. But they're having some trouble with capturing its latest suspect —a pig.

"We have been going hog-wild trying to capture this little porker for the past few weeks," Bensalem Police said. "His elusiveness has gone viral, and residents even say they feed him."

Police ask residents the next time they see this slippery swine they should put their social media post on hold, call Bensalem Police immediately at our non-emergency number at 215-633-3719, and report the pig's location.

"We want to get him before he runs into the street and breaks his little piggy," police said.

Bensalem Police said once the pig is taken into custody, he will be taken to a rescue, checked by a veterinarian, and put up for adoption.
