Police Seeking Man Involved In Bensalem Break In-Sexual Assault

Police in Bensalem are looking for a man who entered a Bensalem home and sexually assaulted a female victim over the weekend, according to a press release from Bensalem Township Police.

Police said a man entered a Lafayette Gardens apartment around 5 a.m. Saturday and sexually assaulted a woman inside.

Police said in a press release that the woman awoke to the man standing over her and that she fought the man off but was sexually assaulted in the process.

Police said the man entered the apartment through an unlocked window or door.

The man is described as a non-white male between 5 feet, 7 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, was wearing glasses and had body odor.

Authorities obtained video surveillance from the Sunoco at Frankford Avenue and Knight Road in Philadelphia around the time of the assault that depicts a male subject that is believed to be the suspect in this case.
