9 Water Rescues Reported In Bucks Co. From Overnight Flooding
Heavy rain overnight flooded sections of several Lower Bucks County communities. Bensalem and Bristol Township were among the hardest hit.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Nine water rescues were conducted due to flooding in Lower Bucks County from heavy rains overnight., county officials said.
Bucks County Spokesman James O'Malley told Patch that fire emergency crews conducted eight water rescues in Bristol Township and one in Bristol.

He did not provide the locations and details of the rescues.

Residents reported that Street Road was flooded by the Wendy's and old Nifty Fifty's property. Action News 6 reported that Station Avenue was not passable after storms led to major flooding there. Bensalem residents in Facebook posts Wednesday also said that State Road was also flooded.
Meanwhile, Action News also reported that a large section of the roof collapsed from the weight of water at an industrial business on Cedar Avenue while workers were inside.
Croydon Fire Chief Thomas Tryon said that no injuries were reported and that "torrential downpours" lasted for more than an hour.
Croydon residents on a Bristol Township Facebook page also reported some power outages on Tuesday night.
