Route 1 Construction Begins At Night This Week

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Construction is planned at night this week on Rockhill Drive for the Route 1 Reconstruction in Bensalem Township, PennDOT said.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said construction is planned at night this week on Rockhill Drive in Bensalem Township under PennDOT’s $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.

- Monday, Nov. 4, through Thursday, Nov. 7, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning, a single-lane pattern will be in place in both directions on Rockhill Drive between Old Lincoln Highway and Neshaminy Boulevard for drainage installation and bridge painting.
The work is part of PennDOT’s U.S. 1/RC2 contract that will reconstruct and widen U.S. 1 from south of the Rockhill Drive Interchange to north of the Penndel/Business U.S. 1 Interchange.
