Overnight lane restrictions are planned through May 24 on northbound U.S. 1 in Bensalem, Middletown and Langhorne Manor Borough for a repaving project, PennDOT said.
Lane restrictions will be in place from the PA Turnpike Interchange to just north of the Route 413 (Bellevue Avenue) from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday. Crews will be working on milling and paving as part of a project to repair and resurface 27 miles of state highway in Bucks County.
PennDOT is milling the existing roadway surface and repaving the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface, PennDOT said.
