SCORE Bucks County Workshop to Feature 'Shark Tank' Style Business Pitches
Applications are being accepted from new business owners, entrepreneurs and inventors willing to give a five-minute business pitch.
Could your small business pitch survive “Shark Tank”?
You can find out – without the jeering and humiliation – during SCORE Bucks County’s Entrepreneurs Evening on Nov. 5.
Applications are being accepted from new business owners, entrepreneurs and inventors willing to give a five-minute business pitch describing their business plan, services or invention to a panel of experienced business people. There will be no prizes and no investment offers. Just advice and encouragement from a panel of experienced business people. It will be an opportunity for presenters and the audience to learn from and refine their own business pitch in anticipation of meetings with investors and bankers.

“Our goal is to help Bucks County business owners and entrepreneurs polish their business plan and make it more attractive to lenders,” workshop organizer Tim Fielder said. “This format allows the audience, participants and SCORE Bucks County mentors to interact and share ideas easily.”
The Shark Tank feature will be preceded by three successful business owners talking candidly about their business. They will discuss what they do; how they started; who and where are their customers; and how they market themselves to their customers. Their experience and opinions will be invaluable to everyone attending this event.

The evening will end with an opportunity to meet the speakers, to network with other business owners, as well as investors and inventors. SCORE small business owners will also be available for one-on-one discussions.
