Scott Petri Launches Bid For Congress

State Rep. Scott Petri has announced he will run to represent Bucks County in Congress.

Petri, an Upper Makefield Republican who currently represents the 178th Legislative District in Harrisburg, launched his campaign Monday with this web video. He will face a primary battle against Bucks County Commissioner Andy Warren, who recently launched a Republican campaign for the seat.

Democrat State Rep. Steve Santarsiero is also running to represent Bucks County in Washington. He will face 2014 candidate Shaughnessy Naughton in the Democratic primary.

Rep. Mike Fitzpatrick has said he will not seek re-election.
