Unity Week, Bensalem Township's annual celebration of diversity and togetherness, will continue with events throughout the week.

BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem's Unity Week, the annual, community-wide event that celebrates diversity and togetherness, has kicked off and will continue through the week at houses of faith around the township.
Building a Better Bensalem Together (B3T) has kicked off Unity Week on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day for more than 20 years, honoring his memory and service while connecting neighbors together across faiths and backgrounds. The township and many local faith organizations also participate, including from Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, and Muslim faiths.
On Sunday, PARX Casino hosted the opening service and more than 200 people attended from a variety of faiths and denominations, said B3T in a Facebook post.
