State Rep. Tomlinson Reappointed House Deputy Whip

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —State Rep. Kathleen "KC" Tomlinson —who won re-election to her third term in November —is gaining additional governmental responsibilities.

The state representative of the 18th Legislative District —which covers Bensalem Township and Hulmeville Borough —has been reappointed as a member of the House Republican Whip Team for the upcoming term.

House Republican Whip Tim O'Neal recently announced the team of deputy whips who will play a "crucial role in advancing the conservative agenda in the upcoming legislative session."

He said the GOP leaders are dedicated to keeping the caucus informed and united to face the challenges of an accelerating legislative pace and the need for swift action on key issues.

As deputy whips, the lawmakers assist in delivering important information to their colleagues along with ensuring the Republican Caucus remains aligned, focused, and responsive to the demands of the legislative process.

“Our deputy whip team is composed of strong, principled conservatives who are ready to take on the responsibility of ensuring our members are informed and empowered to represent their constituents effectively,” O'Neal said. “As policy and legislation often move at a rapid pace with many unexpected developments, the role of our deputy whips is vital in ensuring our Republican values remain front and center.”

Tomlinson defeated Democrat Anand Patel in the Nov. 5 general election.

She is among the following deputy whips for the upcoming term:
