Street Road Lanes To Be Closed By Turnpike Commission

BENSALEM, PA — Lanes on Street Road in Bensalem will be closed during the day starting next week through nearly the end of the month for work being done by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.

Single-lane closures in both directions are planned starting Monday, March 11, and running through Friday, March 29. They'll be closed each day from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

The closures will be between Reading Avenue and Old Lincoln Highway in Bensalem.

According to PennDOT, crews will be drilling boreholes in the area.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups are expected. All scheduled work is weather dependent.
