Ice Skating Rink At Neshaminy Mall Still Expected for Holidays
The 'pop-up" rink has been delayed by technical issues from opening in the Bensalem Township mall's parking lot, organizers said.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The "pop-up" outdoor ice skating rink outside the Neshaminy Mall is still coming for the holidays.
"The rink is still in progress, but has run into some expected delays," said Maggie Larkin, marketing coordinator for Flight On Ice, which runs the operation. "The rink will be open for the holiday season."
Larking updated Patch this week and had stated that the rink, scheduled to open on Black Friday was delayed due to technical difficulties with the rink.

She had hoped to have a grand opening announcement sometime this week but said she does not have an exact date as of yet.
The winter attraction —housed in the mall's outdoor parking lot —was expected to remain open through Feb. 26.

Flight On Ice at the Neshaminy Mall is located at 707 Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem, PA, right outside of the AMC Movie Theater and the old Sears Automotive Center.
Single general admission tickets to skate are $12, with $10 skate rentals plus taxes and fees from Dec. 16 through Jan. 2 for peak holiday hours and $10 and $8 for all other sessions.
