Tractor Trailer Falls Off Exit Ramp Onto I-95 In Bensalem

A tractor trailer fell off an exit ramp onto I-95 in Bensalem Tuesday morning, crashing below and leaving debris across the roadway.

It happened just after 9 a.m., sources said. Information from Bensalem Fire Rescue said the incident happened in the northbound lanes at Cornwells Park and Ride, between the Woodhaven Road and Street Road exits.

There is no current word on injuries but NBC10 reported the truck driver was alive as he was helped out of the cab. That network said a red sedan with front end damage was at the scene, backward on the highway

The truck was carrying empty kegs and containers, which are now spilled along the roadway, 6ABC reports.

Traffic delays have been reported.
