Traffic Alert: Road Work, Bridge Inspections Planned Next Week Around Levittown

Road work and bridge inspections are scheduled next week on several roads around Levittown, PennDOT announced Friday.

Here is the work schedule:

• On Thursday, August 18, and Friday, August 19, from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Neshaminy Street in Penndel will be closed between Business Route 1 and Bellevue Avenue for base repair. Motorists will be detoured over Business Route 1 and Bellevue Avenue.
• On Monday, August 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the right lane will be closed on northbound Old Lincoln Highway between Tyburn Road and Woolston Road in Falls Township for bridge inspection
• On Monday, August 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the right lane will be closed on southbound Old Lincoln Highway between Woolston Road and Tyburn Road in Falls for bridge inspection
• On Wednesday, August 17, the right lane will be closed on northbound U.S.13 between Newbold Road and U.S. 1 in Falls for bridge inspection
• On Thursday, August 18, the right lane will be closed on southbound U.S.13 between U.S. 1 and Newbold Road in Falls for bridge inspection
