U.S. 1 Lanes In Bensalem To Close Next Week

BENSALEM, PA — Lanes on U.S. 1 in Bensalem are scheduled to be closed overnight next week for the ongoing construction there.

An alternating, single-lane closure is scheduled for northbound and southbound U.S. 1 between Old Lincoln Highway and Rockhill Drive. The closure will be Thursday, April 11, from 8 pm. to 6 a.m. the following morning.

The closures will be for the construction going on to widen and improve U.S. 1 and rebuild the interchange at Street Road, PennDOT announced on Thursday.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area, as backups and slowdowns could occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
