U.S. 1 Lanes In Bensalem, Middletown Closed Next Week

BENSALEM, PA — Lanes on U.S. 1 between Bensalem and Middletown will be closed next week as PennDOT crews work on camera maintenance.

The work is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 21, PennDOT announced on Thursday.

The lane closures will be from 9 a.m.-noon on northbound U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) between the Neshaminy and Business U.S. 1/Penndel interchanges in Bensalem and Middletown.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area. The work is part of a $3.8 million project. to maintain, repair and update PennDOT's camera system across the five-county Philadelphia region.
