Victim ID'd In Fatal Bensalem House Fire
Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi has identified the victim killed in the house fire on Wednesday afternoon.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA — The victim of a fatal house fire on Wednesday afternoon in the township's Andalusia section has been identified.
Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi said that 72-year-old William Egenolf of Bensalem was the fire victim.
Campi said an autopsy was conducted on Wednesday with the cause of death being smoke and soot inhalation.

She said the man's death was accidental.
The Bensalem Township Police and Fire Departments responded to the house fire at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The cause and origin of the fire remain under investigation by Bensalem Fire Investigators and Bensalem Police Detectives.
"Our thoughts are with the victim’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time," authorities said in a statement.
