Wawa Stabbing Suspect Arrested By Bensalem Township Police

Stanley Wilson was considered "armed and dangerous" by Bensalem Township police. He was arrested on Sept. 21, police reported this weekend.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP —Police have arrested an "armed and dangerous" man who was sought for the past few weeks for attempted murder charges in the stabbing of a man at a Wawa on Lincoln Highway last month.

Stanley Wilson was arrested at 11 a.m. on Sept. 21, the Bensalem Township Police Department announced over the weekend.

Police did not provide further details on where Wilson was arrested.

He had been sought since Sept. 9 and considered "armed and dangerous" after police said he assaulted and stabbed a known male at the Wawa located at 2250 Lincoln Highway before fleeing the scene.

An arrest warrant for Wilson was obtained by police for attempted homicide and related charges including aggravated assault, using a deadly weapon and possession of an instrument of crime with intent.
