BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —The Bucks County Tour of Honor provided an all-expense paid trip for county veterans Monday and then welcomed them home in a celebration and dinner hosted by Parx Casino.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Lt. Thomas Mc Donald and Deputies Alex Cucciarre and James McGlinchey had the honor of serving as the Bucks County Tour of Honor escorts for the veterans from Arbor Square in Harleysville and The Montgomery Township Recreation Center Monday morning.

At 3:30 a.m. Monday, veterans were escorted to their rally point at Parx Casino and then on to the Delaware state line before being relieved by another police escort to complete the trip to the Washington, D.C. area where they visited Arlington National Cemetery, the World War II Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
