What's Going On With The Scudder Falls Bridge?

New video gives complete update of planned construction project for the Scudder Falls bridge, which connects N.J. and PA on Rt. 95.

Lower Makefield, PA -- The Scudder Falls Bridge, which connects Bucks County with Mercer County, N.J. on Route 95, will be getting a major revamp.

Authorities have posted a video to YouTube to keep the public in the loop on the project’s status.

The bridge is currently considered “functionally obsolete” and features inadequate acceleration and deceleration lanes, which are the cause of more than 100 accidents a year, according to information in the video.

The project, which will be constructed in stages, will begin in 2017 and is estimated to be finished in 2021. Some tree clearing work will begin next month, the video explained.
