Whiz Kids: Paula Williamson

Name: Paula Williamson, junior at Bensalem High School

Group: Youth Orchestra of Bucks County, Symphony

Accomplishment: Paula will be playing viola in the Youth Orchestra of Bucks County’s spring concert as part of the symphony, which is part of YOBC's Advanced Division. The advanced division plays Saturday night with doors opening at 7:40 p.m. Performances will be presented by the percussion ensemble, the chamber flute ensemble, the 65-member symphony orchestra and the 45-member wind ensemble.

YOBC's junior and intermediate divsions will play earlier in the day with doors opening at 1:40 p.m. This will include the two junior division string ensembles - Prima Strings and Concertino, as well as the intermediate division, including  Philharmonia (a 20-member string orchestra), flute choir and the 30-member wind symphony.

Both concerts will be held at Neshaminy’s Maple Point Middle School. Tickets are $12 for adults, $6 for students and seniors.
