Woman From Bensalem Township Killed Crossing Street Wednesday: Report

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —A Bensalem Township has died after being struck by a vehicle Wednesday night in Roxborough.

Fox 29 reports the incident occurred at about 8:45 p.m. on the 5800 block of Henry Avenue, just outside Dalessandro's Steaks.

Maryanne Ciecka, 61, of Bensalem Township was struck as she crossed Henry Avenue in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia, the outlet reports.

The driver remained on the scene and is cooperating.
