Woman Found Dead In Bucks Co. Hotel Room, Homicide Investigation Underway

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Authorities are investigating the homicide of a woman found dead in a Street Road motel room early Wednesday morning and have a suspect in custody.

The Bensalem Township Police Department and the Bucks County District Attorney's Office said the homicide took place at the Sleep Inn on Street Road during the early morning hours on Wednesday.

Authorities said a suspect is in custody at the Trenton Police Department.

Pennsylvania State Police in Trevose received information that a homicide may have occurred at a hotel/motel.

Authorities said police searched several hotels in the area of Route 1 and found an unidentified dead woman in the Sleep Inn room.

The victim and suspect's identity are awaiting confirmation and more details are expected to be provided by authorities on Thursday.
