WOW: International Publication Names Bucks County Top Undiscovered Destination

The Daily Mail names Bucks County among exotic destinations in Spain, Italy and Denmark.

You may want to consider putting your Bucks County home on Airbnb. Tourism might be increasing, thanks to a new report by the Daily Mail calling Bucks County one of the top undiscovered travel destinations in the world.

The report, published Friday, ranks Bucks County number three on a list of most overlooked tourist hotspots.

Bucks County was the only American location included on the list, which is comprised primarily of exotic European destinations in Spain, Italy, Denmark and beyond.

"Popular destinations attract crowds for good reason - but many tourists overlook unspoiled treasures just waiting to be discovered nearby," the article says.

Bucks County, which is listed just behind Alcudia old town in Spain and Colle di Val d'Elsa in Italy, is described as having some of the area's "finest countryside."

Specific local destinations were highlighted, including New Hope's Main Street, the historic Bucks County Playhouse and the Pearl S. Buck House in Perkasie.

Bucks County was listed above the Montigny-le-Tilleul ruins in Belgium and Santa Eulària des Riu – a resort on the eastern coast of Ibiza.
