Fisk, internationally renowned guitar virtuoso and 2013 Gala Artist is
offering a free workshop for fans, students, and lovers of guitar music. Guitar Aerobics and the Poetry of Technique is
open to everyone: young and old, classical, jazz, rock, beginner,
intermediate, or advanced. Bring your guitar or simply come and listen,
meet the master, and join in a Question and Answer session. Instead of
sitting and eavesdropping on a private lesson, everyone actively plays
in this interactive workshop. Fisk will introduce exercises that allow
for all types of guitarists at all levels. Each person is invited to
participate in the manner of an aerobics class where each person can do
some part of an exercise at his or her own level. Fisk's accessibility
and commitment to the education of the next generation of guitarists
will give participants and audience members alike a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity.
