North East, MD (September 6, 2014) -- Harcum College celebrates its centennial during the 2014-15 academic year, and for the first time in its history, is fielding a Men’s Soccer Team. On Saturday, the newest Harcum Bears athletic squad took to the field for the first time ever, and defeated host Cecil College 9-0, marking the program’s first ever win.

Harcum took control of the game early, netting six first-half goals, and never looked back. Freshman forward Jovan James scored 5 times and an assist. Hector Cruz, Chris Serrano, Max Berry (pictured), and Dakota Rush also added goals for Harcum.

The Bears will be back on the road on Tuesday when they travel to Union County College for a 3:30 pm game.
