2 Cars, Garage Broken Into In Bryn Mawr: Police

Someone got inside an unlocked vehicle then used the garage door opener to get in the garage and pilfer another vehicle, police said.

BRYN MAWR, PA – On New Year's Day, a Bryn Mawr resident discovered their two vehicles and garage were broken into, according to police.

Radnor Township Police said the break-ins were discovered Jan. 1 and are believed to have happened between Dec. 28 and Jan. 1.

According to police, a vehicle was parked in a driveway at a home on the 100 block of Drakes Drum Drive in the Bryn Mawr section of the township.

The suspect got inside the unlocked vehicle and used a garage door opener to get inside the victim's garage, police said.

After getting inside the garage, the suspect stole several items from another vehicle parked inside the garage, according to police.

Police urge everyone to lock all vehicles.
