3 Chances To Donate Blood In Bryn Mawr In November
Between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day, many donors delay giving due to the holidays and travel, which can lead to low supplies.

BRYN MAWR, PA – With the holiday season approaching, the American Red Cross is encouraging donors to give blood now to help ensure a sufficient supply for patients this winter. And the Bryn Mawr area is hosting three donation drives this November.
You're three chances to donate in Bryn Mawr are listed below:
- Nov. 4, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Harriton High School, 600 N. Ithan Ave.
- Nov. 9, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., Bryn Mawr Hospital, 130 S. Bryn Mawr Ave.
- Nov. 10, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., Bryn Mawr Hospital, 130 S. Bryn Mawr Ave.
Between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, many regular donors delay giving due to holiday activities and travel, which can lead to lower-than-average blood supplies.

More donations are needed in the weeks leading up to the holidays to help stock the shelves for patients like Emily Bratton. After the birth of her first child, she received several units of blood.
"I know that my life was saved because someone, somewhere, was willing to donate their blood," Bratton said in a statement. "There aren’t words to describe how incredibly thankful I am that people are willing to donate blood to help a stranger."
