Anders Back of Harcum College Named President of CUPRAP
A long time profession of Bryn Mawr's Harcum College is now chairing the mid-Atlantic's premier association of college PR workers.

Anders R. Back, Director of Internal Communications & Publications at Harcum College, has been elected President of the College and University Public Relations and Associated Professionals (CUPRAP). CUPRAP is a mid-Atlantic association of higher education communications and advancement professionals with some 400 members representing over 100 universities, colleges and secondary schools in Pennsylvania and five other states. He was elected at CUPRAP’s annual Professional Development Conference in March for a two-year term.
Back rejoined CUPRAP’s Board of Directors in 2011 after serving as a Board member from 1993-1997. He also held the positions of CUPRAP Treasurer and Vice-President.
He holds a B.A. degree from Antioch College and a M.S.degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Currently Director of Internal Communications and Publications at Harcum College, he was an award-winning Director of Communications at Montgomery County Community College for thirteen years and held marketing communications positions at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and Philadelphia University.
