Aqua PA Donates $25K To Domestic Violence Safety Group

The donated funds will be used to Laurel House's campaign to build a new Safe Haven Center in Montgomery County.

BRYN MAWR, PA — Efforts to build a new safe haven for victims of domestic abuse got a funding boost from Bryn Mawr's Essential Utilities and Aqua Pennsylvania.

The utility provides donated $25,000 to Laurel House’s campaign to build a new Safe Haven Center in Lansdale.

Laurel House, based in Norristown, advocates for and empowers people impacted by domestic violence by providing crisis intervention, safe haven, supportive programs, and resources.

For more than 40 years, Laurel House has offered hope and healing to women, men and children affected by domestic abuse.

The new Safe Haven Center is close to public transportation, job training programs, employment opportunities, and many other community resources.
