ATF Concludes 2018 Gladwyne House Explosion Investigation
After a house under extensive renovations exploded just over a year ago in Gladwyne, the ATF has released its findings.

GLADWYNE, PA — A home on Dodds Lane in Gladwyne exploded just more than a year ago. And now, the ATF has released the findings of its investigation into the explosion.
The explosion occurred at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018 at 649 Dodds Lane in Gladwyne.
The ATF has officially ruled the incident as a natural gas explosion.

Certified Explosives Specialists with the ATF have classified the source of the explosion as "undetermined," however.
Lower Merion officials said there are no criminal charges being filed in connection with the findings.

No one was in the home at the time of the explosion and no one was hurt.
The Gladwyne Fire Company has shared a photo that shows a home in Gladwyne completely destroyed by an explosion. No one was inside, according to the homeowner who called 911. He said there was a gas leak. Reports indicate It could be heard - and sometimes felt - as far away as NJ pic.twitter.com/Pp0C3X7Jwr
