Bear Cub Basketball

Harcum’s summer Bear Cub Basketball Camp ended June 19 and a very enthusiastic group of 27 young campers ages 5 to 10 went through their final drills in the Klein Hall Gym. Campers had a choice of full or half-day sessions.

Camp leaders J.J. DeTemple and C.J. Scott had a busy three days teaching the Cubs the basic skills of passing, ball handling, shooting, rebounding, offense and defense. Juliette DeTemple was responsible for administration of the camp.

After the morning and afternoon teaching sessions the Cubs were divided into teams for games and there were contests for Knockout, Dribble Tag and Team 21.
