Black Rock Road Bridge In Bryn Mawr Reopens Ahead Of Schedule

The Mill Creek-spanning bridge closed Oct. 9 for rehabilitation work. But officials said the bridge is open a week early.

BRYN MAWR, PA – The Black Rock Road Bridge in the Bryn Mawr section of Lower Merion Township has reopened early, officials announced Friday, Dec. 1.

The bridge, located just south of the Black Rock-Dove Lake road intersection in Bryn Mawr, closed Monday Oct. 9 for rehabilitation work after an inspection McCormick Taylor under PennDOT's direction.

The Mill Creek-spanning bridge is now open, a week ahead of schedule.
