Body Found In Schuylkill IDed As Missing Main Line Man

Lower Merion officials said the body found in the Schuylkill River Thursday was Geoff Partridge, who was reported missing in December.

GLADWYNE, PA — Lower Merion officials said the body found in the Schuylkill River Thursday night in Gladwyne was that of a Main Line man who went missing in December.

Officials told Patch the Montgomery County Coroner's Office identified the body as Geoff Partridge, 36, of Villanova.

His death has been ruled suicide, officials said.

Partridge was reported missing Dec. 5 and his vehicle was found partially in the river.

The body was found at about 6:25 p.m. by a fisherman just upstream of the Green Lane bridge, officials said.

Lower Merion and Philadelphia police departments worked in conjunction to recover the body from the river.
