The Philadelphia Friendship Circle has served to provide a structure to support relations between youth with special needs and youth volunteers, along with their families for 13 years. The organization reaches families in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties. They foster friendships between kids with special needs and teen volunteers. This doesn’t just help the kids, the volunteers say that they also benefit from the friendships as much as their counterparts.

The Philly Friendship Walk is organized every year to help fund and draw attention to the programs run by Friendship Circle in and around the Philadelphia Region. This year they expect over 700 participants to join in for the walk.
