Bryn Mawr Ave. Bridge Work Underway In Bryn Mawr
One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times as the work lasts until December, PennDOT said.

BRYN MAWR, PA – Bridge rehabilitation work on Bryn Mawr Avenue has begun, according to PennDOT and Radnor township officials. To accommodate the work, one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times as the work lasts until December, PennDOT said.
The Ithan Creek-spanning bridge will see work including replacing the box beams and bridge barrier; installing new guide rail; repairing the substructure; and resurfacing the approach roadway, PennDOT said.
Radnor Township said the work will last until Dec. 15.

The bridge was built in 1964 and is 28 feet long, 45 feet wide, and carries an average of 10,411 vehicles a day.
The structure is one of eight bridges in Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties that PennDOT is repairing under a $7.5 million project financed by Act 89, the state’s transportation plan.
