Bryn Mawr Bar Named Best Suburban Cocktail Bar By Philly Mag

BRYN MAWR, PA — There's no shortage of spots to get a delicious cocktail in the Philly suburbs and on the Main Line.

But one Bryn Mawr spot has earned top honors in Philadelphia Magazine's Best Of Philly 2022.

The publication released its list of more than 250 winners in its annual best of compilation.

And Bryn Mawr's Avalon was among those recognized.

Avalon was chosen for Best Suburban Cocktail Bar this year.

Here's what Philly Mag says about Avalon:

There are lots and lots of bars on the Main Line, but it’s surprising how few serve a proper cocktail. That’s not the case at Avalon. Whether you’re in the mood for a boulevardier, an old-fashioned, or a Hendrick’s three-to-one martini, extra-cold, served up with three olives and made with Dolin vermouth (one of our staffers is very particular), they always seem to come out perfect here, and both the stemware and the vibe are impeccable.
