Bryn Mawr Cosi Location Closes Amid Bankruptcy
Lancaster Avenue location closed to due it's financial performance, company says.
The Cosi restaurant on Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr is closed, according to the company.
Earlier this week, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy this week, leading to 29 of its 74 nationwide locations to close, according to the company. The Bryn Mawr location is one of those casualties.
"Unfortunately, we made the hard decision to close it based on its financial performance," the company said in an email to Patch. "The closure is permanent, though we hope to return to the area in the future!"

One diner comments on the Bryn Mawr Cosi Facebook page pleading the fast-causal sandwich purveyor to reopen, saying it's one of her favorite eateries. A Cosi representative responded saying that closing the location was difficult but hopes the Cosi fan visits the locations still in operation.
Other area Cosi locations have closed as well, Patch reports.
