Bryn Mawr Day Committee is Planning For September

Members of the Bryn Mawr Day committee has lots planned for the September 10, 2016 event.

Bryn Mawr Day, 2016, Main Line’s annual family, fun day, is back with a dazzling array of entertainment, activities and food guaranteed to please everyone. The celebration will be held, rain or shine, on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. This year’s committee is planning for a giant party expecting to draw crowds from Bryn Mawr and surrounding neighborhoods. The eclectic combination of music, tours, restaurants, circus performances and live petting zoo & pony rides, creates the ultimate day of fun, food and music for all ages.

“A Taste of Bryn Mawr” is exemplified by a diverse array of restaurants and merchants offering Bryn Mawr’s finest and most popular foods. The Bryn Mawr Day Stage sponsored by The Baldwin School will feature special performances beginning at (9:00 am). Featured talent includes: Bryn Mawr’s own Bluebirds, Wolf Performing Arts Center, Wilson Vocal Academy, Blues Uprising, and local schools.

The Bryn Mawr Business Association-sponsored “Give and Take Little Circus," featuring clowns, jugglers, stilt walkers and aerial acts, join with a traveling zoo (with pony rides) sponsored by Ludington Library, fire truck rides, history tours and the farmer’s market, with extensive specialty, one-of-a-kind treats. Throughout the day, kids will enjoy face painting and balloon artists.
