Bryn Mawr Home Burglarized Early Thursday Morning: Police

Once inside, the suspects took a video game system, games, a sound bar, and keys to two vehicles.

BRYN MAWR, PA – Radnor Police are reporting a residential burglary that occurred in the early hours of Thursday, June 29 in the the Bryn Mawr section of the township. The incident resulted in electronics and car keys being stolen from the home.

According to police, a homeowner on the 700 block of Woodlea Road in Bryn Mawr woke up to a burglar alarm sounding off at about 4:45 a.m.

When the homeowner went downstairs in the home, they found a lower level window wide open, according to police.

The window was unlocked, police said.

When inside, the suspects took a backpack from the home and filled it with a video game system and games, police said.

The suspects also took a sound bar from a wall by cutting wires using a pair pliers from inside the home, police said.

Additionally, the suspects took two pairs of car keys, police said.

The alarm was tripped when the suspects tried to leave through a door with an alarm sensor, police said.

A police K9 unit tracked the suspected to the area of South Roberts Road and Vauclain Lane in Bryn Mawr, police said.

Police are reminding residents to lock door and windows at set alarms when possible.
