Bryn Mawr Hospital Aide Sexually Assaulted Teen Patient: DA
A 30-year-old aide at Bryn Mawr Hospital is accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old patient.

BRYN MAWR, PA — A Bryn Mawr Hospital aide is facing sexual assault charged after he allegedly sexually assaulted a teenage girl who was a patient at the hospital.
According to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele, Kaseef Festus, 30, of Havertown, has been arrested on charges of felony institutional sexual assault of a minor, felony corruption of a minor, and endangering the welfare of a child.
The charged stem from a May 8 incident at Bryn Mawr Hospital, where Festus was employed at the time.

On May 6, a 16-year-old girl was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital by her parents and treated in the emergency room.
While there, the girl stayed in the hospital’s emergency room she was placed in a proper facility.

Then, in the early morning hours of May 8, the DA's office alleges Festus, who was an aide assigned by the hospital to look after her, engaged in a sexual act with the girl.
According to the DA's office, the victim disclosed the incident during an outpatient treatment program and later disclosed at Mission Kids, Montgomery County’s Child Advocacy Center.
Montgomery County Detectives opened an investigation, which led to charges against Festus.
Festus was arraigned on June 16 and was released on his own recognizance with $10,000 unsecured bail.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 2.
