Bryn Mawr Night To Feature Music, Demonstrations, More

BRYN MAWR, PA — Despite this year's Bryn Mawr Day being canceled, the second annual Bryn Mawr Night is still a go.

This Friday, Bryn Mawr Night will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Bryn Mawr Trust lot at the corner of Bryn Mawr and Lancaster avenues.

The night will feature live music, demonstrations, massages, and more.

A full list of events is featured below.

Stores, restaurants, and offices invited to stay open later to celebrate the night. Surreal Creamery specifically will be open until 11 p.m.

Participating businesses will also be serving "Bryn Mawrtini" cocktails.

The association is inviting all of Bryn Mawr to participate, not just existing association members.

Below are events planned for Bryn Mawr Night:

• 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. — "Jazz at Dusk," Steve Charney and his band
• 5:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. — Performances by Wolf Performing Arts Center
• 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. — Visit the Main Line Art Center's table for a fun fall-themed art activity and to learn more about their fall programming
• 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. — Hummingbird Yoga & Massage Studio: yoga and reiki demos, hands-on chair massages
• 6:45 p.m. to 7 p.m. — Serena Zelezny, Founder & Principal Wine Educator, What Am I Drinking?! Studio: key pointers in selecting the perfect wine to bring to a BYOB restaurant. Q&A invited.
• 7 p.m. — Sandy Goldstein Edelstein, owner of Grove 1.2.1.—an award-winning boutique with a regional signature of personal styling—discusses five must-haves for your fall wardrobe.
• 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. — Stroll Lancaster Avenue. Participating stores and restaurants will be providing Sip and Shops, as well as discounts. Look for fashion and furnishing previews. Expect delicious specials created just for this evening as “a taste of Bryn Mawr” continues throughout the town.
