Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church to Host "Blessing of the Animals" Event

Sunday, October 5, 4 p.m., Front Lawn of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church

All friendly creatures great and small, along with their human companions, are invited to gather on Sunday, October 5, at 4 p.m., for fellowship, singing, scripture, prayers, and individual blessings of companion animals at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church’s 2nd annual “Blessing of the Animals.”

The event, which will be held on the front lawn of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church, will feature “St. Francis of Assisi” (the Rev. Dr. R. Charles Grant), who will discuss our special relationship with God’s creatures of the animal kingdom and the blessings we receive from them.

An offering of food and supplies for local animal shelters will be received, and refreshments will be served.
