Bryn Mawr Resident Targeted By Phone Scammers: Radnor Police

BRYN MAWR, PA — Police in Radnor Township are alerting the public to a phone scam that targeted a Bryn Mawr resident recently.

According to police, on Friday, May 31, a resident on Drakes Drum Drive in the Bryn Mawr section of Radnor Township got a call from someone claiming to be from the Social Security Office.

Police said the number was (800) 325-0778.

The resident gave their information to the caller before realizing the call was a scam.

Any other resident who believes they were a victim of this or any other type of phone scam is asked to call the Radnor Police at 911.
