Bryn Mawr Resident Wakes Up To Burglar In Bedroom: Police

A woman told police she woke up to a person going through her belongings in her bedroom over the weekend.

BRYN MAWR, PA — A Bryn Mawr resident said she woke up to a man going through belongings in her bedroom over the weekend, according to Radnor Police.

Police said at about 12:05 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, a man broke into an apartment in the Villas of Bryn Mawr.

A woman was sleeping in bed in her apartment when she woke up to the sound of a person entering her bedroom, police said.

The person started going through her belongings, police said.

When she looked out from underneath her covers she saw an older black man, wearing a maroon shirt and tan shorts, looking through her backpack, police said.

She screamed and the man ran from the apartment, according to police.
