BRYN MAWR, PA — Hungry families in the Philadelphia region can eat well during the holidays thanks to an annual food drive by a Main Line school.
Bryn Mawr's Shipley School recently held their annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive benefiting local community organizations on Tuesday.
On Tuesday, morning, Shipley School fifth graders joined Upper School students in packing up 250 Thanksgiving meals for families throughout the Philadelphia region.

The meals are being delivered with the help of Shipley’s partner organizations The Breathing Room, Mercy Neighborhood Ministries, People’s Emergency Center, Fanny Jackson Coppin and Overbrook Educational Center.
Each meal kit, which can feed a family of 6-8 people, will include a turkey, fresh vegetables, stuffing, cranberry sauce and more.
