The Lower Merion Symphony is a vibrant community orchestra serving the Greater Philadelphia area with a mission to make exceptional symphonic music accessible to all. Founded over 50 years ago, the Symphony is composed of talented volunteer musicians—from advanced amateurs to seasoned professionals—who come together to share their love of orchestral music with audiences throughout Montgomery County and beyond.

Under the artistic direction of Music Director and Conductor Mark Gigliotti, the Symphony presents a dynamic concert season featuring timeless classics, contemporary works, and hidden musical gems. Maestro Gigliotti, also a distinguished bassoonist with The Philadelphia Orchestra, brings a wealth of professional insight and energy to the ensemble, elevating its musical standards while fostering a spirit of collaboration and community.
