Cameras Catch Crook Rummaging Through Vehicle: Radnor Police

You should lock your vehicles at all times, even if they are parked in a garage or in a well-lit, highly trafficked area.

BRYN MAWR, PA – Radnor Police said a resident in Bryn Mawr reported security cameras caught a criminal attempting to get inside vehicles parked in their driveway, with one vehicle successfully entered.

According to police, the incident occurred at about 4:34 p.m. on Sunday, May 21 on the 200 block of Williams Road in Bryn Mawr.

The victim told police after reviewing security footage, a person was seen walking into his driveway and trying the doors of both vehicles.

Police said the video shows the suspect entering one vehicle,which was unlocked, and going through the console and glove compartment.

The suspect was wearing a jacket, hooded sweatshirt and hat covering their face, police said.

"The Radnor Police wish to remind residents to keep vehicles in the street and driveway locked at all times," police said. "Furthermore, should any suspicious activity or persons be observed, please contact 911 immediately for the police to respond and investigate."
