Car Crashes Into Gladwyne Creek Sunday, Driver Rescued: Fire Co

The vehicle's driver had to be pulled from the vehicle and was taken to a hospital for treatment after crashing into a creek Sunday.

GLADWYNE, PA — A car crashed into a creek in Gladwyne Sunday afternoon, according to the Merion Fire Company of Ardmore.

The fire company said at about 1 p.m. Sunday, May, crews from Ardmore and Gladwyne fire companies responded to a report of a car fire after an accident in the 400 block of Mill Creek Road.

Upon arrival crews found a car, with the driver still inside, in the creek, the fire company.

Water rescue units responded and crews worked to stabilize the car and remove the injured victim.

The victim pulled from the vehicle and taken to a hospital for treatment, the fire company said.
